The Thar Roxx’s Black Edition is likely to follow shortly after this in the Indian market. Pratap Bose, Chief Design and Creative Officer of Mahindra & Mahindra, has teased the forthcoming off-road-capable SUV version in a social media post with John Abraham ahead of any official announcement.

The top-of-the-line model costs Rs 23.09 lakh (ex-showroom), while the base model costs Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV’s prices may slightly rise as a result of the black finish. This version of the vehicle is likely to bring only aesthetic changes. Either the 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine or the 2.0-liter mStallion turbo petrol engine will continue to power the SUV. A MT or an AT can be paired with these power units. With the diesel engine, it also comes with the option of a 4×4 system.
