‘Rainbow Six Siege’ DLC Season Pass Details Revealed, Comes With One Year’s Worth Of Early Access To DLC

Rainbow Six Siege

Ubisoft has revealed details about Rainbow Six Siege‘s season pass, finally clearing up questions about what players who shell out the extra money will receive.

The game publisher earlier said that all players who do not have the season pass will have access to all post-launch DLC. That includes each of the two new operators and the maps and modes that will become available starting January, a month after the title’s scheduled December release, with the other three seasons separated by a period of three months. It’s not surprising, therefore, for players to question what exclusive perks will be available to them if everyone will be able to access all DLC.

Ubisoft says players who pay the extra money for a Rainbow Six Siege season pass will have exclusive early access to all four DLC, beginning with Operation Black Ice in January. Aside from this, players will receive a permanent 5% boost in Renown, the in-game currency they can earn by completing tasks to unlock more content. They will also get 600 R6 Credits, the second type of in-game currency that players can buy with real money to unlock premium weapon skins. 600 R6 Credits is worth around $5 if purchased from Ubisoft.

The season pass will also give players an exclusive Porter weapon skin and a Safari Bundle comprising five weapon skins. Lastly, players will have access to two extra daily challenges they can complete to further boost their Renown, amounting to a total of five Renown-boosting challenges every day.

The Rainbow Six Siege season pass will be available as a standalone purchase for $29.99. It will also be included in the Gold and Collector’s Editions, which cost $90 and $150 respectively. The game is expected to debut for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Dec. 1.
