Here we are in 2016 and the discussion on where search engines came from, and where they’re heading, rages on unabated. Google continued its relentless assault on low quality content with fresh versions of Panda and Phantom. Penguin, however, was conspicuous by its absence. They also took some concrete steps towards improving the overall search experience for their users by promoting sites that loaded faster, were more secure, and offered a great mobile browsing experience in the search results. Google also revealed the role of artificial intelligence in ranking websites and apps by interpreting search queries better.
