A Yu-branded smartphone with model name YU5200 has been spotted on GFXBench, as well as import listing site Zauba. As per GFXBench, the device may come with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, and be powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC and 3GB of RAM. At the back is a 13MP camera, while the front has a 5MP camera. The device has been tipped to come with Android Lollipop v5.1.1. The listing on Zauba suggests that the device may be priced at around Rs. 9,036.
It is possible that the YU5200 may be a successor to the Yu Yureka Plus that was launched last year at Rs. 9,999. The Yu Yureka Plus comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and is powered by Snapdragon 615 SoC and 2GB of RAM. The device is equipped with 16GB of internal storage, and comes with 13MP rear and 5MP front facing cameras. Yu’s last device was the Yutopia, which the company captioned as the ‘most powerful phone’ on the planet.
