Videocon Z55 Krypton With 13-Megapixel Camera Launched at Rs. 7,999

Videocon Mobiles on Friday launched the Videocon Z55 Krypton smartphone. The company has previously launched the Z55 Delite and Z55 Dash. The smartphone features almost similar specifications like seen with its siblings. However, it features a better camera.

The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Videocon Z55 Krypton comes with dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Dragontrail X Glass, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor alongside 1GB of RAM. It includes 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

The Videocon Z55 Krypton features a 13-megapixel autofocus autofocus rear camera with LED flash, while also housing a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera lens is made of Corning Glass. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, and 4G. It packs a 2200mAh battery and includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The Z55 Krypton comes preloaded with V-Safe app, which is designed for emergency purposes to contact family and friends, and also comes with a 90-day free subscription to the V-Secure antivirus app.
