Vivo V23 Pro and V23 India launch today: Specs, features, and how to watch launch live stream

The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to launch its much-awaited colour changing V23 series smartphones; Vivo V23 Pro 5G, Vivo V23 5G in India today during the live virtual event.

The company says it will be holding a first-of-its-kind interactive launch event for the two smartphones. The event will be streamed live on YouTube starting at 12 noon. Rohit Saraf and Sanjana Sanghi will be hosting the interactive launch event.

Both the smartphones have appeared online on several certification portals, revealing their key specifications, and the smartphones were also recently spotted on an Indian e-commerce website.

Vivo in a statement said, “Vivo will announce its V23 series in a one of its kind event with popular celebrities Rohit Saraf and Sanjana Sanghi. A 25-minute film available on Vivo India’s official YouTube channel will bring together many novel features of the V23 series in an engaging and experiential format.”

Vivo V23 5G will come in two configurations such as 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. These models were recently listed on the Vijay Sales website for Rs 31,990 and Rs 35,990, respectively.

Vivo V23 comes equipped with a 6.44-inch display coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate. A MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset will power the smartphone, and it operates on the Android 12 based FunTouch OS 12. The smartphone will boast a 4,200mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Its back panel will be fitted with a 50-megapixel primary, 8-megapixel ultrawide, and 2-megapixel macro triple camera unit.

The Vivo V23 Pro 5G will be equipped with a larger 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display with curved edges and a wider notch. It will come with the same 50-megapixel dual selfie camera system. The rear camera setup of the phone will include a 108-megapixel primary camera, which is coupled with an 8-megapixel ultra wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro snapper.

The V23 Pro will feature the Dimensity 1200 chipset and a 4,300mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. Both phones will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS, which will be overlaid with FunTouchOS 12.
